We got to have our Princess granddaughter and our Prince Charming grandson stay overnight with us Friday night.  The kiddos played outside for a little bit with Pappy G.  They love to sit in the big tree.   We had a lot of fun with them.

Future Best Buddies

Here is baby Ava and baby Olivia.  Their Mommies have been best friends since kindergarten.  The Mommies were in each others wedding, too.  Ava and Olivia were born on the same day.  Although, Ava was eight weeks premature.  This is an adorable photo.  What darling little girls!!!!!   We say they are future best buddies.

Princess Ava and Her First Easter

 

Princess Baby Ava (5 1/2  months old (adjusted age 4 months) ) with her Great Aunt Bonnie and Grammie.  Ava spent Saturday night with Grammie and Pappy.  She slept from 8:30pm to 6:00am when Grammie woke her up.  We all had a wonderful Easter at Alisson and Terence's home!!!  We have so much to be thankful for.  Jesus Christ is risen indeed!!!!

I placed this froggy rattle in little Ava's hand.  I thought I would have to help her hold it.  She grasped right on to it and played with it.  Yeah Ava!!!

Caden and his Dinosaur Toy

Grandson Caden seems to be enjoying his dinosaur that we got him for his birthday.  It does colors, letters and songs.  Just look how strong Caden looks holding himself up with one arm and playing with a toy.  All praise and thanks to God!!!

An Early Reader

This is Tyler early Saturday morning.  He spent the night with us along with his brother Josh and sister Kori.  Tyler has taken an interest in books.  He likes to look at books on his own and likes to have the same book read to him at least 8 times.  Tyler is so cute when he plops into my lap with a book and looks up at me to read it.  Tyler is starting to say some new words... cook for cookie, ball, and here (when he gives something to you.)  He understands everything that is said to him.  He associates getting a bath with going to bed.  When he stays at our house, I give an early bath and the kiddos play or watch a movie in their pj's.  When it was Tyler's turn for a bath, he ran away.  I said, "Tyler, you are only taking a bath. You do not have to go to bed. You can play after your bath."  He then willingly came to take his bath.  I have so much fun with the grandchildren.  Of course, Kori says, 'You are the best, Grammie."

Evan Spends the Night with Us

Evan has been asking all week to go to Grammie and Pappy's.  He got to spend the night with us last night.  We have been giving him the one on one time that he needs.  This morning Evan went with Pappy G to Stimmel's bakery to pick out his donut for breakfast.  Evan, of course, chose a sprinkled donut.  He ate all of his donut and two bowls of Rice Krispies.  He is going to nap at our house today and then we will take him to Easy Street with us for an early dinner.  Evan will go home around 6:00 today.  What fun we are having!!! Thanks to his parents for sharing him with us. 

Ava's First Valentine's Day

Happy 1st Valentine's Day to our sweet Ava Grace.  Ava has been using a generic swaddle wrap from the hospital.  Since she really likes to be swaddled when she sleeps, Pappy and I decided to get her a pink swaddle wrap for Valentine's Day.  The little princess needed a pink swaddle wrap.  She is soooooo precious to us.  We thank God for this miracle baby.  "With God All Things Are Possible.?

Ava is 4 Months Old

Our miracle granddaughter is 4 months old.  She now weighs 8lbs. 10oz. and is 21 1/2 inches long.  She is 4 times her preemie birth weight and has grown 7 1/2 inches.  Praise God.

Grammie and Pappy G with Caden.   We drove the 11 hour drive Friday to see Caden for his first birthday on Saturday.  We then came home on Sunday early morning.  Although it was a short trip, we loved being a part of Caden's first birthday!!!!  Happy Birthday, Caden Zachary!!!

 Ava is crying.  She had a burp.  She lets you know when something is not right or she wants to eat.

Ava is more content now.  She is on the new Tummy Time quilt my good friend Sally made for our princess.  Sally has made a tummy time quilt for each of our baby grandchildren.  The quilt is beautiful.  Our princess Ava seems to really like it, too.
