Happy 39th Anniversary

This blog would not be happening if Gerry and I had not pledged our love 39 years ago.  Happy Anniversary and Happy Life to our children and grandchildren.  Love to all.

Evan Sleeps Over

 Evan spent the night with us on Wednesday.   We started the evening with yogurt at Lola's. How fun!!  Evan chose chocolate yogurt with marshmallows, gummie bears and mini chocolate chips.

Evan playing with the train track while he waits for the Naturalist program to begin.  The theme was "Under Your Foot."  Evan got to hold a snake, touch and examine a worm, look at a mouse, cricket and other things in the ground.  It was a wonderful presentation.  When I asked Evan if he wanted to go to the library for a program.  He asked, "Will it be good?"  I told I didn't know if it would be fun and that we could leave if he did not like it.  Evan told us after the presentation, "I loved it." We had a lot of fun with Evan spending the night with us.  He is a sweetie.  We saw a friend downtown and she said, "Oh, he looks like his uncle."  We hear that a lot about Evan.

We had a wonderful Father's Day and birthday celebration for Alisson.  Yummy food and great family time.  The kiddos had fun in our kiddie pool and playing with the squirt toys.

Miss Ava

 Ava likes to use her brother's blue crib sheet as her security blanket.  I am trying very hard to have her want this pink blankie.  Wish me luck.

Ava will not smile on command, but, she will yell "Hi" on command.  Don't you love the teeth.

Summer 2013 with Grandchildren

 Sweet Ava on her Winnie the Pooh sitting/riding toy.  Evan is chatting with her.  He loves his little sister so much and is so nice to her.  She is one lucky little girl.

After playing outsde, the kiddos all got baths.  The two boys are watching Toy Story for the millionth time with Pappy.  We had so much with the little ones this afternoon for a couple of hours.

Grammie Date

I had a Grammie date with granddaughter Kori.  We saw the Horizon Youth Theatre performance of Aladdin Jr.  It was wonderful.  We then went to get ice cream.  Kori got a Buckeye sundae.  She thanked me for the sundae and for taking her to Aladdin.  What a sweetie pie!!  She is growing so tall.  I told that in two years she will be taller than I am.  I am used to being the shrimp in the family.

Special Time with Grandkiddos

I love nice weather.  The grandkiddos are having their cookie snack on their individual chairs.  This is a great way to keep the crumbs off of the kitchen floor.  Little Ava is getting into the routine with her older brothers.  So cute!!!  I know I have said this before, but, I love being a Grammie.

I (Grammie) got to have Ava come and play for a couple of hours last evening.  I had such fun with her.  She, now, however, comes right to my camera when I want to get a picture of her.  She is looking older these days.
