Grandkids With Us

 Last night (Monday) we had the 4 grandchildren with us for the evening.  They had dinosaur spaghettios, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheetoes and chocolate milk.  I took this photo right after bathtime.  We SKYPED with Aunt Bon Bon and Uncle Cha Cha. 

 The grandchildren are wearing the pajamas we got them for an Easter gift.  Evan has Lightning McQueen Cars pjs, Josh has fire engines on his pj's that says Mom's Hero, Kori has a cute polka dotted nighty and Tyler has 9 month jammies that say Hand Some. 

Baby Tyler looked so angelic sleeping that I just had to take this photo.  He was a little clingy tonight which I did not mind. He fell asleep in my arms as I rocked him and sang to him.  Tyler had his six month check up and got booster shots today.  OUCH!!!  Tyler is in the 60th percentile for weight and the 70th percentile in length.

 Tyler on Easter morning at our house.  He spent the night with us since all of Terence's family was at their house.  They needed Tyler's crib for his cousin Bella.  Since we have a crib, Tyler slept at our home.  He sleeps so well and is such a good baby. I put him to bed at 8:30pm and he slept through the night.  I woke him up to eat and get ready for his Mommy to pick him up for church.

At six months old, our grandson, Tyler Daniel, is the happiest baby with the biggest smile.  I am always greeted with a smile which warms my heart.  He is so cute.

When I bought this onesie for Caden, little did I know what his parents would have to experience. Under normal circumstances, I knew Caden's Mommy and Daddy would be exhausted.  They now have good reason to be exhausted.  But, just look at this precious grandson.  All smiles and too cute.  A gift from God.

Tyler and Pappy G

Tyler and Pappy G were playing together on Sunday afternoon.  Pappy had the Cleveland Indians game on.  Tyler stopped to watch the Indians win the game.  Way to go Tyler!!!!  (Pappy G has been a Cleveland Indians fan for many years.  It has been great with the Indians playing so well and winning so many games!!!)

Caden at 2 Months Old

Caden is now 2 months old.  He weighs 8lbs. 10oz. and is 21.75 inches long.  I can tell in this photo that Caden has more hair than he did when I last saw him 10 days ago.  He is too cute!!!

Here is baby Caden with his Auntie Alisson (aka Auntie Ali-Cat) on her visit to hold Caden for the very first time.  Caden is going to learn that he is very special to Auntie Alisson.  She rode in a car for 11 hours with Caden's Grammie and Pappy G just to hold baby Caden.  Uncle Terence was very willing to watch Caden's cousins Kori, Josh, Evan and Tyler so Auntie Alisson could go on the trip.  I love my family so much!!!  I am one lucky lady.

Tuesday With Tyler and Evan

 On Tuesday at noon, I picked up Evan and Tyler at their church nursery to watch them for a few hours while Alisson and Terence attended a funeral for a good friend's mother.  After lugging Tyler to my car in his carseat and then getting the carseat on the base in Pappy G's car, I felt I had accomplished a lot.  As I was getting lunch ready for Evan, I looked over at Tyler.  I saw that Tyler had kicked off his sock.  Tyler was very content kicking his legs and feet while playing with his rattle and toys .

I was sitting on the couch holding Tyler.  Evan came over and said, "Hug?"  I said, "Come on up, buddy."  After hugging, I took Evan's photo.  Evan is so loving.  I am one lucky Grammie.

Grammie Rocking Caden

I so enjoyed rocking Caden in his nursery.  It was so quiet and peaceful. I rocked and held him while he slept for an hour and a half.   I love  Caden so much and I am missing him a lot!!!!!  Thank you God for this precious baby boy.

Why I Rode 11 Hours Last Saturday

We drove for 11 hours last Saturday just so I could hold our grandson baby Caden for my first time.  I loved rocking him to sleep and singing to him.  I was so content just rocking with him and cuddling with him.

Fun Time at the Park

It is 81 degrees and sunny today.  The kids took advantage of the spring time day and went to the park.

Evan at Grammie and Pappy G's House

 Evan was at our house for a few hours on Friday night.  Whenever he comes into our house, Evan says, " I want my cars."  He then goes to the toy baskets and gets his cars. (We do have a lot of other toys for him.) He loves cars.  Evan even had to take his cars to bed with him.

In this photo, I asked Evan to smile and show his teeth.  Evan seems to be such a big boy.  He loves to play cars with Pappy G.

Caden Knows His Daddy

Caden was getting a little fussy.  As soon as his Daddy started talking to him, he responded by listening and calming down.  It is so precious that Caden recognized his Daddy's voice.  What a special bond they have already!  This is one of my favorite moments while visiting Caden and his Mommy and Daddy and dog Hayley.

Evan Singing His ABC's

Evan can sing all of the ABC song.  He usually will stop singing when I have the Flip camera.  Tonight he sang the song, however, his latest trick is to lip sync.  You can see Evan in the video just moving his lips and no sound coming out.  As we prompt him, he does finish the song.  I recorded this just after his bath and while he was eating his bedtime snack of animal crackers and chocolate milk. Of course, later in the evening, Evan sang the complete song even with "now I know my ABC's; next time won't you sing with me?" As he was falling asleep, I asked him to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and he did.  Evan, also, sang "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." What a cutie!!!!!

Our Visit with Caden

 Caden with his Auntie Alisson.  Alisson rode down with us on Saturday and then flew home on Sunday evening.

 Grammie and Pappy G with precious Caden Zachary.  Caden is 7 weeks old and weighs 8lbs. 3oz.  We got to spend 6 days with Caden and his family.  It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
