Pappy G and His Boys

Joshua and Evan woke up this morning at 7:15am. We did not hear a peep from them all night. They ate breakfast and got dressed. Here they are sitting with Pappy G as they finish watching the movie Wall-E from last night and as I got ready for church. Being grandparents is so wonderful!!!

Two Cute Little Boys

Joshua was wearing Woody Toy Story pajamas that we got him for his birthday. Evan was wearing jammies we bought him. The boys looked so cute. I asked Joshua if I could take a picture of Evan and him. Josh stood ready for me to take a picture. Since Josh was going to do a photo, Evan was very willing to do so, too. After I took the picture, Josh asked, "Let me see." Of course, Evan, the copycat, said, "Let me see." I just thought the two boys looked so cute.

Boys' Night and Sleepover

Tonight we have Josh and Evan spending the night with us. It has been a really fun time. The boys wanted to have some cake and ice cream tonight. Josh was wearing new pajamas and he put on one of Evan's bibs to wear. He knew he would be messy. Evan put his hands into the cake immediately. They both are too funny. As you can see they both loved their bedtime snack.

Our Darling Daughter

Alisson has 4 weeks to go until we see our little baby grandson. He is due October 22nd. I get to be in the delivery room again. What an honor and what a joy to be able to see God's precious little miracle be born. I took this photo this evening as Alisson, Terence and the kiddos were over to celebrate my birthday and Terence's birthday. We have the same birthday! We had pizza and German chocolate cake for Terence and white confetti cake for me. Gerry is so wonderful to take our requests for birthday cakes. We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren and daughter and son-in-law. I think Alisson looks beautiful in this photo. Please keep Alisson and the little baby in your prayers.

Our Little Boy

Evan is no longer a baby. He is a little boy. He looks like a little boy, acts like a little boy and talks like a little boy. In this photo, Evan is checking out his MP3 musical toy. This is the first time that he selected it himself to play with and was very interested in it. We love our little boy!!!!!

Evan Visiting Us

On Saturday afternoon, we had Evan from 4:00 to 6:00. His family went early to tailgate for the BGSU football game. We got to have Evan so he would not be at the stadium so long. He has not been at our house in over a week. His language has really developed in that short period of time. I told Evan I was going to the store and I would be right back. Evan sat with Pappy G and said, "Bye Grammie." When I got home from Meijer, Evan was pulling a teddy bear in the little red wagon. Earlier, Pappy G had taken Evan for a long wagon ride. I told Evan it was time for his bath. When in the tub, Evan said, "Grammie, watch this." He splashed the water and laughed. When I got him out of the tub, Evan said a few words that sounded like "Sue" to me. I asked him, "Sue who, Evan?" He then clearly said, "BGSU." I was at that time putting on his BGSU Falcon t-shirt. We then took him out to the stadium to find his parents. As we were walking, several people said, "Ah, look at the cute baby." Evan looked like a big boy to me in his BGSU shirt, blue jeans and light up tennis shoes. He is a cool dude!!

Pappy G and His Boys

The birthday party was winding down. I asked Alisson if I could help clean up. She said, "You can help by watching Evan, Josh and Kori." No problem.... I can do that. I thought this was a cute picture of Pappy G with his boys. They must have been talking about something. It was a fun day!!!

Evan Gets a Gift Too

Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Charlie brought a car for Evan. He was so excited about this car. He played with it for a long time. Joshua got a blue car just like Evan's for his birthday from Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Charlie. I got to take care of Evan during the party so Alisson could do everything else. I had the best job in the world to do today!!!!!!!

Opening Presents

In this picture Joshua is going to look at our birthday card and then open our presents to him. We gave him several gifts with a Toy Story Theme since we took him to see Toy Story 3 this summer. Look at our daughter sitting with her legs crossed and she is 8 months pregnant!!!!!

Joshua Turns 4

Today we went to our grandson Joshua's 4th birthday. He had his party with his buddy Drew who turned 3. It was a Super Heroes theme. So, Pappy G and Grammie made a Spiderman cake for him. We are not cake decorators. We just try to figure out to make a cake look right by what we can do. We used black licorice for the spiderweb. It was a fun time and Joshua is a sweet little boy.
