Evan had his 2 month check up today with the pediatrician. He now weighs 12lbs. 12oz. and is 24 inches long. Evan is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 95th percentile for height. The doctor put him on his tummy and he lifted his head up. Evan, also, cooed and smiled at the nurse and doctor. He showed off!!! It is hard to believe that Evan is already two months old!! Evan received three shots today. With my background in special education and having served on an autism task force, I am very cautious with vaccinations even though there is no evidence that autism is caused by vaccines. Alisson talked with the pediatrician about this and she was told that the MMR vaccine given at 1 year was the one in question. The MMR vaccine no longer has mercury in it. Alisson, however, is going to be careful about getting the shots/vaccines more spread apart.
Praise God for this wonderful gift to us!!!!!
